SINOHYDRO Donated RMB 11.2 million yuan to Yushu Quake Zone


On April 14, the 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck Yushu, a remote Tibetan autonomous prefecture in Qinghai Province, Western China. It caused sizeable casualties and property loss. On the same day, SINOHYDRO Engineering Bureau No. 4, one of SINOHYDRO’s subsidiaries headquartered in Xining (the capital city of Qinghai Province) immediately sent a rescue team to assist in the relief work in the disaster area.In the following days, SINOHYDRO and all 19 of its subsidiaries quickly acted, raising donations for Yushu. By 15:30 on April 19, SINOHYDRO and its subsidiaries had collected a total sum of RMB 11.2 million yuan.
