SINOHYDRO won the Bid of 380MW Combined Cycle Replacement Capacity Project in Malaysia

On May 2, 2013, SINOHYDRO, by receiving and acknowledging the Letter of Acceptance from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (The Employer), officially won the 2400 million USD contract of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning the 380MW Combined Cycle Replacement Capacity Project in Malaysia. As SINOHYDRO’s first oversea EPC project of F-class combined cycle gas-fired power plant, it marks the company’s significant breakthrough in the field and further consolidate its capability and market position as a global EPC contractor in thermal power plant industry.
Financed and operated by Tenaga Nasional Bhd., the project is situated at Connaught Bridge, Klang City, Selandor state, Malaysia. After completion, it will be the closest station of National Power Grid to Kuala Lumper, thus one of the most important power plants for the country.
